THE PRESIDENT'S ROOM

When used as Lord Astor's bedroom it contained a piece of fine tapestry and a magnificent French four-poster bed, overspread with a rich coverlet of brocade.

2002 footnote: Now known as The Green Room, this room also suffered substantial damage from the bomb which struck 2 Temple Place in 1944 and now acts as a servery for the caterers.
